PRAXIS II
The PRAXIS II Subject Assessment exam is a content area exam that the Colorado Department of Education will be accepting to meet the content knowledge testing requirements for teacher licensure. *To obtain a Statement of Eligibility (SOE) in Special Education, individuals are required to pass the Elementary Education exam #10014, or the computer based Elementary exam #5014.
The PLACE Special Education exam (20) is taken during year two of ALP SED or ALP SED MAT.
You will need to have your Praxis II scores sent to the Colorado Department of Education (CDE). If you are applying for ALP SED MAT, you will need to have your Praxis II Elementary Ed scores sent to both the Colorado Department of Education (CDE) & MSU Denver.
Results of the Praxis II assessments are recognized by state departments of education in many states.
