About Metropolitan State College of Denver

Metro State: Where Success Begins With You!

Metropolitan State College of Denver is a comprehensive, public four-year institution granting bachelor’s degrees through its three schools: Business, Professional Studies, and Letters, Arts and Sciences.

With more than 21,000 students, Metro State is one of the largest public four-year colleges in the United States. But with intimate classes, accessible professors and the availability of services like mentoring and advising, students get the personal attention they need to fuel their achievement.

Metro State also enrolls the highest number of ethnic minorities in the state. The College’s accessibility is made possible through its location, affordable tuition and financial aid awards.

Metro State’s main location is on the Auraria Campus, set in a 127-acre park-like site that adjoins downtown Denver. Sharing the campus with the University of Colorado at Denver and Health Sciences Center and the Community College of Denver, students benefit from the combined resources of three institutions.
