Join us in "The Boardroom" on May 4
Have you been following "The Apprentice Challenge @ Metro State"?
Then you will want to attend "The Boardroom” Finale on Monday, May 4 at 7:00 p.m. in the Tivoli Turnhalle. This fun event will give you the chance to meet the student competitors, review team projects via an exclusive film premiere and cast a vote for your “Apprentice” of choice. Proceeds from this event will support endowed and annual tuition scholarships as well as Alumni Association programs. Tickets start at only $10.00 and may be purchased online at www.mscd.edu/apprenticechallenge or in the Office of Alumni Relations at 1059 Ninth Street Park. Hurry! The deadline is Monday, April 27.

Short-term medical insurance options for alumni
One of the services provided by your Alumni Association is GradMed, a short-term medical insurance plan. If you have recently graduated, are between jobs or have just started a new job and have an insurance gap, this plan might be for you. This product is an affordable option, with a regional average cost of $4.79 per day for a plan with a $500.00 deductible. The myths and truths about credit: Free workshop
All Metro State alumni are invited to this free workshop, which will take place on Tuesday, April 21 from 6:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at the Credit Union of Denver, 9277 W. Alameda Ave., Lakewood. The session will outline how to establish, re-establish or maintain a healthy credit history. This event is presented by Randy Mims of Lending Solutions and hosted by the Credit Union of Denver. RSVP by Friday, April 17 to 303-239-1174 and receive a free copy of your credit report and FICO score.
