General Event Volunteer
There are plenty of events happening year-round that serve to get alumni re-connected with the campus! These events include Commencement, Homecoming Week, Spring Fling, the Alumni Association Annual Meeting and much, much more!
Commitment Required: Very Minimal. These fun, one-time volunteer opportunities usually consist of a couple of hours or more, depending on the length of the event.
Alumni Action Task Force Member
The Alumni Action Task Force (AATF) serves as an advocacy group for MSU Denver. This includes calling, e-mailing and/or meeting in-person with State Legislators to present the MSU Denver perspective. AATF members are kept informed about decisions from the Capitol that will impact the College’s mission to be the state’s “college of opportunity” through a website and listserve. Commitment Required: Minimal. Varies year to year, but AATF members are encouraged to attend the Volunteer Training and participate in a Lobby Day/Capitol Tour.
