The Annual Fund is the key means by which MSU Denver raises unrestricted funds each year to support and enhance the day-to-day work of the University. With strong Annual Fund support, MSU Denver can truly become one of the country's premier, urban baccalaureate institutions. To succeed, we must call upon the loyalty and generosity of our alumni and supporters.
Success in meeting Annual Fund goals—both in total giving and in participation—is vital every year. Unrestricted Annual Fund gifts not only provide a major source for scholarships and student aid, they
also give the MSU Denver Foundation invaluable flexibility in spending where the need is greatest or when special opportunities arise. Because the money can be immediately put to use, the Annual Fund gifts from thousands of alumni, parents and friends are equal in purchasing power to the annual income from a multimillion-dollar endowment fund.
The Annual Fund helps maintain the University's margin of excellence. Because needs and opportunities differ over time, it is important to have a robust Annual Fund each academic year to replenish this vital resource.
