Department of Art Advising Contact Information
As one of MSU Denver's largest and most complex departments, it is vital for students in the Department of Art to see advisors regularly in order to ensure they are making adequate progress towards graduation. In general, students can use one of two primary points of contact to meet with an advisor:
General Advising:
Richard Cowden is the general advisor for all MSU Denver Fine and Performing Arts majors. Rich works with new and transfer students on basic General Studies, major, and minor requirements.

Art Department Faculty Advising:
To locate and/or schedule a meeting with an Art faculty advisor, call the department at (303) 556-3090. The front desk staff will field questions and direct students to the appropriate advisor(s).
