Mission

The mission of the Office of Academic Assessment is to facilitate development of assessment plans for academic and other programs. We consult with faculty and staff to assist them with articulating desired student learning and development objectives and deciding the most appropriate ways to measure student achievement of the objectives. We encourage intentional use of the findings generated from these measures to improve student learning and development.

Report Due Dates

Annual Assessment Reports for academic programs are due to the Office of Academic Assessment and to the Deans' offices on Friday, September 18, 2009. Please submit reports in electronic format using the template found in the Forms section of this web site.

Peer Review of Assessment Report Dates

The Peer Review of Assessment Reports will take place on Friday, October 2 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday, October 9 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Faculty and staff interested in participating should contact Sheila Thompson at sthomp83@mscd.edu or x24495.
