Biology Club Information
Greetings,
Now that the current semester is in full swing, the Biology Club is having its first meeting of the semester February 20th in TIV 140 from 1230-130. We would appreciate your support in recruiting efforts for participation of our club by mentioning our club and events in your classroom. We are asking all faculty and staff to discuss the biology club in classrooms and encouraging students to like our Facebook page and join org sync. If you have time, please copy and paste the message below and email your classes the below information regarding the biology club. Our goal this semester is to increase participation and include all aspects of biology in our events and seminars, as well as having active partnership with faculty in presenting their research to students and biology department staff. We understand as educators your class time is limited and we appreciate any support for our club.
I would encourage all of you to be active participants in the MSU Denver Biology club. The biology clubs is a front line source for volunteer opportunities, community involvement, education seminars and college outreach for continuing education programs. To start please visit Facebook and “like” MSU Denver Biology page. Notification of events and opportunities will be announced on this page weekly. To become a member of the Biology Club, you must create an account through orgsync. This is accomplished by clicking on the link below. Orgsync allows the biology club to keep track of attendance, volunteer hours and can even help with keeping records for patient hours for those of you who require them for future education programs. The biology club will also post events and news on this site weekly. The first biology club meeting of the Spring 2013 semester is taking place Wednesday February 20th from 12:30-1:30 in Tivoli 140, located under Sigi’s near the food court. Pizza and beverages will be provided. Please see attached flier for more information.
Thank you,
Crystal Hall
Biology Club President
