New site now live - Sept. 28

Complete the puzzle - win a digital camera
The office of College Communications just launched the 'It's a Webolution' puzzle promotion to communicate the coming Web site chages to the campus community. Every department on campus will recieve a special card containing a puzzle piece, 1 every few days till they recieve all 6 pieces.
Send us a fax or photo of the completed puzzle for a chance to win one of two Olympus digital cameras for your department. Keep an eye out for those changes coming this fall...that's it for now...

No changes, but planning, planning, planning
We haven't needed to make much in the way of changes to the site, but we have been planning for the big Web redesign for the primary College site. We are going to use an number of lessons learned from this very site in our new design. College Communications is working closely with the Web services team in IT. Stay tuned to the Web/Screen page for updates!.

Editorial Style Guide section changes, update of Standards PDF
Added editorial entries for illegal alien, minority (ies) to general editorial section per cabinet request. Updated ID Standards Manual PDF to match.

Minor modifications to ID Standards Manual PDF, Brand Central updated
Ok, well actually we updated the Standards Manual PDF and synched Brand Central with the updated standards manual *yesterday*. It's a fun process (not) but these were relatively minor changes to copy, 8 changes in all I believe.
And check out our new little blue arrow-doodads ' 
'
on the left column subnavigation. They should help visitors identify
where they are in the subnav. Short of bread crumbs, but still
pretty spiffy eh?
Just another chapter in our ongoing effort to provide the best, most accurate information to our constituents. ;-)
