Welcome to the School of Business at Metropolitan State College of Denver (Metro State). As you browse the site, you'll become acquainted with the business programs and faculty that help make Metro State a premier undergraduate baccalaureate degree-granting institution in Colorado.
Located on the Auraria Campus, Metro State has a diverse student and faculty population in the heart of Downtown Denver. Such diversity contributes to a more enriching educational experience. In the hub of the Denver business community, Metro State is building partnerships to reflect its dedication to the Colorado business community. Such alliances will build bridges between the business community and students entering the workforce.
Consistent with its mission, The School of Business offers students a variety of educational opportunities that either lead to a bachelor’s degree or provide opportunities for non-degree seeking students to gain additional undergraduate education through our extensive course offerings and certificate programs. The school provides convenient access to instruction through traditional classroom sessions and innovative online delivery. Classes meet at the main Auraria campus, the Metro South campus, and through a 2+2 program at Front Range Community College. Classes are offered during the day, evenings, and weekends and include extensive summer offering in addition to courses during the traditional academic year.
The school consists of 73 full-time faculty members, more than 50 affiliate faculty members, and 10 staff. Over 3500 students major in business and economics. Students can take advantage of on-the-job training through cooperative education placements, internships, and independent study course work.

The School also offers Certificates in Accounting, International Business , multiple Certificaes in Computer Information Systems for business majors and for non-degree seeking students, Personal Financial Planning. Our faculty includes Fulbright Scholars, editors of academic journals,
and nationally recognized academic scholars.
