Working Adult Students

Welcome to Metro State!
We know adult students have different needs compared to traditional college students and those needs mainly focus on completing a course, certificate, or degree in the most efficient way possible.

Metro State has a long history of serving the working adult student whose profile has included women and men from every age, background, and walk of life. Nearly half of our total number of students are 25 years of age or older.

Steps to Enrollment
Whether you are enrolling as a first-time college student or transfering from another college, the Enrollment Planning Guide provides the working adult with the information, links, and the contact persons to help you get started.

Tuition Cost
Our competitive cost ($379.72 in-state tuition and fees for a three credit hour course) makes Metro State a very attractive option for working adults. Find the complete Tuition and Fees schedule here.

College Credit or Training?
Depending on your needs and goals, we offer traditional courses for college credit as well as training programs geared specifically to your work place needs. For more information, follow these links to College Credit or Training.

For further information, contact Assistant Director of Admissions, Paul Cesare at cesarep@mscd.edu or call 303-556-3994.
