Published Guides: The National Guide to Educational Credit for Training

The National Guide to Educational Credit for Training Programs lists education and training programs offered by governmental agencies, corporations, professional associations and the military that have been assessed by the American Council for Education (A.C.E.) for college credit. MSU Denver accepts these recommendations when the learning is equivalent to courses and curriculum offered by the university. 

Military training and other educational programs, including DANTES that have been assessed for college credit by the American Council on Education (ACE) will be evaluated by the Office of Admissions for transfer credit at MSU Denver.  The Army, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Navy are now producing a Joint Services Transcripts (JST) to replace the AARTS and SMART transcripts.  To request a JST visit: https://jst.doded.mil.  Community College of the Air Force Transcripts can be requested at www.au.af.mil/ccaf.  Militarycredit limit is 30 semester hours.  Questions regarding credit awarded formilitary experience or other prior learning assessment options should be directed to the Prior Learning Specialist in the Center for Individualized Learning at 303-556-8342Military transcripts should be sent to the MSU Office of Admissions.

Advanced Placement & the International Baccalaureate
