How to Become a Sponsor
The American Association for Affirmative Action, Region 8 would like to invite you to participate as a sponsor and/or exhibitor at the regional conference in Denver Colorado. The 2012 conference is scheduled for April 19-21, at the Auraria Campus at Metro State College of Denver. Sponsorship provides a unique opportunity to show your organization’s commitment to Affirmative Action. When you sponsor the event you will:
- Reach an expected target audience of 50-100 attendees.
- Increase the awareness of your organizations products and services.
- Be recognized as a key supporter of Affirmative Action and demonstrate your organization’s commitment to best practice in this rapidly changing environment.
The “Affirmative Action, Diversity and Inclusive Excellence” conference is intended to provide Affirmative Action Officers, Chief Diversity Officers, Government, Industry representatives, Post Secondary institutions and K-12 School Districts the with knowledge and awareness on issues and current events as it relates to affirmative action and diversity. Topics covered at the 2012 Region VIII conference range from a discussion on emerging issues and compliance in the form of a panel discussion with the Department of Labor, Office of Civil Rights (OCR), and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC).
An addition, there will be concurrent sessions on the topics: Workplace Violence, Recruitment and Retention, How to develop Partnerships with Industry, and Prevention, Investigation and Resolutions in regards to Bullying, Harassment and Discrimination in the Workplace.
The American Association for Affirmative Action (AAAA) Is a National, Non-Profit Organization, made up of employment/educational equity and diversity officers from Higher Education, Government and Industry, that promotes the professional growth and development of its members through training and educational programs.
This is a special invitation to your organization to join with others as a sponsor at this region-wide conference. As a sponsor, you will have direct access to professionals representing local, state, federal government agencies, and private sector businesses. You will receive excellent exposure of your products and services while being recognized for your active support and community involvement.
