Tips for ConnectU Users
'session time-out'
The default 'session time-out' for ConnectU is 15 minutes and cannot be changed.
To prevent a 'session time-out' one of the ConnectU tabs must be clicked within every 15 minutes.
Using ConnectU with an ISP that uses 'Web Accelerator' Technology
Some dial-up ISP's such as (AOL, Netzero/Juno, Netscape, etc.) use 'Web Accelerator' technology that you must disable for ConnectU to function properly.
Do Pop-Up Blockers affect ConnectU?
ConnectU uses Pop-Up browsers for certain warning messages and E-mail components. If you are having difficulty accessing ConnectU e-mail from off-campus, pop-up blockers may be the problem. Pop-up blockers should be set to allow pop-ups from msudenver.edu. Your system may have several Pop-Up Blockers configured. The most common Pop-Up Blockers are located within browsers, software provided by your ISP, search toolbars, or security centers/suites.
