If you are interested in becoming a Peer Educator, you may stop by our office at the Counseling Center in Tivoli 651 for an application form. We generally recruit new Peers in the Spring semester for the following academic year. We are interested in students with Sophmore standing or higher. If you are interested in meeting new people, enjoy working with others, and you are reliable and dependable we might be interested in you. Peer Educators are also paid for their services. Leadership
The Peer Education Program is designed to provide opportunities for leadership groth and development. Peer Educators serve as mentors in the First Year classes, making others aware of resources that could enrich their stay at the college. Weekly training focus on personal growth and self-exploration as well as provide feedback on ways of enhancing relationhips with others in a leadership capacity.
