Time Management Tips

Q. Need to use time more productively ?
A . Make the most of "hidden" time!

5 Tips to show you how:
  1. Carry Pocket Work. Bring along a book, or notes to study when situations leave you with unexpected free time--a long line at the bank or supermarket, a delayed bus, or a wait at the doctor’s office.

  2. Use Your Mind When It’s Free. If you’re shaving, combing your hair, or washing dishes, there’s no reason you can’t be studying at the same time. Do a problem or two in math or master some new vocabulary words as you eat a sandwich.

  3. Put Info. On Cassette Tapes or Cds. Recorded info. enables you to keep studying in situations when you’re moving about or when your eyes are otherwise occupied, such as when you’re getting dressed or driving.

  4. Use Spare-time thinking. Make the most of moments immediately before or after class by recalling the main points from the last lecture as you’re heading to class or by quickly recalling the points of a lecture just completed as you’re leaving class.

  5. Use Subconscious. Your subconscious works while your conscious mind is resting in sleep. Write down your ideas as soon as you wake up; otherwise they’ll be lost.
