Conference Overview

The African American Students in Urban Schools: Critical Issues & Solutions for Achievement Conference will be held on May 14-16, 2013 in beautiful Denver, Colorado.  This conference will bring educators, school administrators, education professors, equity directors and coordinators, federal employees and many others to one table, to discuss the need of the students in K-12 schools in America.  While many issues facing African American students are similar to other ethnicities, at this conference, we will focus on the needs and opportunities for this particular group.
