There are many programs and organizations that are working to increase gender equity in STEM and this website allowed these groups to promote their work, to collaborate with similiar programs and to network across city and state borders.

National STEM Education Distributed Learning
This program aims to establish a national network of learning environments and resources for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) education at all levels. The program has four tracks:
- Pathways projects are expected to provide stewardship for the content and services needed by major communities of learners
- Pathways II projects are expected to move beyond the major stewardship goals and use Stage II support to ensure the expansion and stability of an original Pathways effort
- Services projects are expected to develop services that support users and resource collection providers by enhancing the impact, efficiency, and value of the NSDL network
- Targeted Research will focus on investigating the educational impact of networked digital resources.
National Science Digital Library
Analytical Graphics, Inc (AGI) is the maker of Satellite Tool Kit (STK) software. STK is a system modeling and mission analysis application and software development kit for space, defense and intelligence engineers and analysts. Use STK to model complex systems (aircraft, satellites, ground vehicles), along with their sensors and communications, in the context of the mission environment. STK can be licensed with a wide variety of plug-in modules as well as allowing users to create their own plug-ins using C, C++, C#, J#, Matlab, Fortan, Pascal in a client server environment.
AGI Academic Resources offers free licensing for academic primary schools, colleges and universities. Licensing can be managed by individual instructors as needed for classrooms and labs.
Khan Academy is a website with instructional videos which can be used to tutor K-12 students in various subjects, such as math, history, and science. The short YouTube videos give examples of the problem and allows the viewer to watch and re-watch the videos until they understand and complete their homework.
