Chile Field Course

This field experience focuses on the environment, conservation, and current environmental/land use practices in Chile.  The course will provide the opportunity to study and learn about the ecological, political, and social impacts that development and climate change are having on natural resources in Chile.  This course also offers the opportunity to learn about best-planning practices that scientists, planners, and community based-groups are devising for these problems. Regardless of students’ career trajectories, environmental questions will infuse public life in the near future.
