Breadboard/Proto-board Policy

Attention MSU Denver Electrical Engineering Technology Majors:
The EET program has a policy requiring all students to have their own solderless breadboards.

The minimum standard set by the program is: Terminal positions contain electrically connected tie-points spaced on a continuous .100" matrix to accept any component with .100" lead spacing. Breadboard area should not be less than 2.25 inches by 6.5 inches. A minimum of three Five-way binding posts provide interface for connections from the power supply, signal generators or other equipment. Steel or aluminum base (breadboards without a backing base tend to fail in less than one semester). Rubber feet prevent sliding during benchwork.

A 3M model 309 solderless breadboard available through Mouser Electronics and other vendors.
Radio Shack has a similar model. Some links to help you find a breadboard.
