Internships, cooperative education, and service learning enhance the education of MSU Denver students by placing students in work experiences related to their academic major.
The professional staff of The Internship Center works closely with students and employers to match the students' skills and theoretical training with positions in businesses, governmental agencies and non-profit organizations. The Internship Center also works directly with faculty to ensure that internships meet the educational needs of our students.
Service
Contact program for information.
The Electrical Engineering Technology Program highly recommends that students be involved in some form of voluntary service.
Voluntary involvement would include but not be limited to: Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver, other service organizations or professional organizations as the Insitute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers, Inc. or the ISA - the International Society of Automation.
The IEEE has a student branch and the ISA has a formative student section at MSU Denver.
By volunteering to assist with special events sponsored by these type of organizations, the student will realize personal growth and networking opportunities for their future goals.
