Larry G. Keating Memorial Scholarship

The Electrical Engineering Technology Program has the Larry G. Keating Memorial Scholarship. This Keating Scholarship may be applied for during the Spring semester for the next academic year. For application and more info: (pdf)

Professor Larry G. Keating
Biographical Information

Professor Larry G. Keating (1944-1996) Taught at Metropolitan State College of Denver for over Twenty years in the Electronics [now Electrical] Engineering Technology Department. Professor Keating obtained his BSEET degree at MSCD and went on to receive his MSEE degree at the University of Colorado at Denver. Professor Keating was the chair for the EET department for over ten years.

He had several years of industrial experience including being chief engineer for three radio stations. He also worked for Cobe Laboratories and Statitrol Corp. where he obtained and extensive control systems background. While at MSCD, Professor Keating was known as a strong student advocate.
