Student ID and Computer Account Information

As a student you will be assigned a unique Metro State ID and accounts will be created for the various services available to you (i.e. MetroConnect, the Academic Computer Labs, as well as the Ask Rowdy Kiosks located around campus. The following will provide you information regarding each of these accounts.

ID/Account Description
Metro State ID: A unique computer generated nine-digit number, which is used as a means of identification when accessing information from academic department, or one of the enrollment services offices.
MetroConnect: MetroConnect is the Metro State portal. MetroConnect helps ensure that learning is not limited to the classroom. The portal provides a means to communicate more effectively and efficiently through web based e-mail, calendars, targeted messaging, collaborative group portals and course portals. These enhanced communication and collaboration tools encourage interaction across the campus community.
Academic Computer Labs: As a student at Metro State you have access to a number of computer labs to complete homework, projects, do research for classes, etc. Click here for more lab information.
Ask Rowdy Kiosks: There are currently five AskRowdy Kiosks located around campus. You can utilize these machines for a variety of services like printing of class schedules, campus maps, view campus events, etc.
