Fundamentals of Engineering
(F.E.) Exam
Taking the FE exam (not part of the review) is the ultimate goal of the FE
review.
The FE exam application process needs to be completed
before the date of the review registration deadline.
Exam Information
- Current Metro State Seniors need to contact
Dr. Mingli He he@mscd.edu or Linda Succo succo@mscd.edu for
student F.E. Examination application deadline (Fall: August 31st, 2009;
Spring: TBA).
- Metro State students must do both steps
to take the F. E. Exam.
- Step 1 Application (for current Metro State students
only)
- Get the FE

- When you fill out the form
- It must be typed
and then printed. (no hand written forms)
- Use your MSCD e-mail
- Complete all questions
- Return this form with $30.00 check
(payable to State of Colorado) to Linda Succo in SO226
- Step 2 Testing Agency
Application
- Non-Students (graduates)
must obtain FE Exam applications and apply through the Colorado State Board
of Licensure for Architects, Professional
Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors and ELESS By spring exam: January
1st; fall exam: July 1st (see board link below for other date deatils).
- The F.E. Examination is given by the Colorado State Board of Licensure
for Architects, Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors
in April and October . Further information concerning the exam may be obtained
by calling the Colorado State Board of Licensure for Architects, Professional
Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors at 303-894-7788, or by visiting
