MSU Denver's Individualized Degree Program
Design your own major or minor…
The Individualized Degree Program (IDP) enables students to develop their own majors or minors. Students draw from courses available across the University and work with an advisor from the Center and a faculty mentor to develop a degree plan designed to achieve the student’s specific educational goals.
Warning: These degree programs do not come with additional accreditation such as from ABET, Inc. They are accredited the same as the University.
MSU Denver has received a NASA CIPA II Grant along with the Community College of Denver (CCD) to develop a new program in Aerospace Systems Engineering Technology.

The Electrical Engineering Technology (EET) program will allow students to complete a Bachelors of Science degree program through the IDP titled Computer Engineering Technology. The students diploma will read with a IDP Computer Engineering Technology Bachelors of Science degree title.
While this Computer Engineering Technology degree caries the full University's accreditation, the degree however does not carry the ABET, Inc. accreditation.
Students wishing to have an ABET accredited degree can complete the Electrical Engineering Technology Bachelors of Science degree with a concentration in Computer Engineering Technology. Students using this option have a diploma with the title of Electrical Engineering Technology Bachelor of Science.
The Computer Engineering Technology degree or the EET Computer Engineering Technology concentration is and combination of courses offered through the Computer Science and Electrical Engineering Technology programs, with elective classes available from the Computer Information Systems program.
