Hyphenation for Accessibility

Using the automatic hyphenation feature in Word can often cause mispronunciation when the document is used by assistive technology. Follow the simple steps to avoid Its use and to approve the accessibility of your document:

Step 1. Click on the Page Layout tab .

Step 2.

Select the Hyphenation drop-down menu and select: None as shown on the example below:
Step 3. To use the Headers and Footers in a proper way for accessibility, make sure you click on the Insert tab .
Step 4. Select the Header or/and Footer  drop down menus and choose from the options provided.
