The Mail tool is internal to the WebCT system. All mail is sent, received, and stored within your course. It allows you to communicate with other users enrolled in the same course, but not with the Internet public at large. The Mail tool is course-specific, and therefore only messages pertaining to that course appear in your Mail box for that course.

To send a message, click on the Create Message button. |
| Step 3. | Click Browse for Recipients to select members of the course to send mail to. ![]() |

| Step 5. | After you have entered a Subject and composed your Message, click Send. ![]() |
| Step 6. | To open a message, click on the Subject name. Note: Unread messages are in bold. |
| Step 7. | To reply to a message, open the message and click on the Reply button. ![]() |
