Now that you have associated a template to your section, you will need to customize the information in many of the folders and files. The following steps will guide you through this process in a quick and easy fashion.

Your new course template comes complete with pre-designed headers for your section. However, the default header may not be appropriate for your section. The following steps outline how to change your header graphic to appropriately display your school and department information. |
| Step 2. | Next, press the Page Options button located in the upper right hand portion of your screen ![]() |

From the Page Options dropdown menu, select Edit Header. The “Create or Edit Header” window should now pop up. |
| Step 4. | Press the Enable HTML Creator button![]() |
| Step 5. |
Delete the current header image by pressing the Delete key on your keyboard |
| Step 6. | Insert your new header image by pressing the Insert Image button located on the upper right hand side of your WYSIWYG toolbar. The Insert Image window now appears. |
| Step 7. | Under the *Insert Image options, press the Browse button to locate your image. The “Get Files” window now appears. |
| Step 8. | Press the Class Files button . The Class Files menu appears. |
| Step 9. | Select the assets folder from the right hand menu. |
| Step 10. | Next, select the headers folder ![]() |
| Step 11. | Click on the folder icon |
| Step 12. | Next, click on the folder icon |
| Step 13. | Select the radio button next to the abbreviated image name for your department (i.e. ). |
| Step 14. | Now press the OK button located at the bottom of the Get Files window. The Get Files window is removed. |
| Step 15. | Return to Insert Image window and press the OK button located at the bottom of the window. The Insert Image window is removed. |
| Step 16. | Return to the Create or Edit Header window. Your new header image is now displayed within the WYSIWYG editor. Press the Save button located at the bottom of this window to save the changes you have made.The Create or Edit Header window is removed. You should now see your new header image on your Course Content Home Page. NOTE: Additional features and tips about using the WYSIWYG tool can be found in the “Using the HTML Creator Tool” section of this document. |
