Posting an Announcement

The most efficient way to convey messages to everyone in the class is through the “Announcements” tool. The Announcements tool has a pop-up delivery option so that your important message is displayed as a pop-up window to students the next time they log in to your class. You can schedule pop-up announcements to begin and end at specified times.


Step 1.
From the Build or Teach tab , click the Announcements tool

Step 2.

Click the Create Announcement button
Step 3. Type a Title and your Message.
Step 4. Under “Recipients," check the roles that should receive the announcement.
Step 5. Enter a delivery date range for your announcement.
Step 6. Decide whether or not to deliver the announcement as a pop-up message by checking the box under “Delivery Dates."

Step 7.
Click Send
