Your Vista course offers many tools to help both you and your students continue their learning online. The initial tool selection process is outlined in this section.
| Step 1. | The first time that you log in to your vista shell, you will be asked to assign your course content. If this is the first time you are using a vista course shell, select the Set up a blank course option. If you have already created course content in another Vista shell, you can transfer those resources into your current shell by selecting the Copy content from another course option. For this example, we will continue by setting up a blank course. |

Click on the Continue button to create your new course shell. |

| Step 3. | You will now be prompted to select the tools you would like to use in this section. While additional tools can be added or removed at a later time, please select the following toolsfor your initial course setup:

| Step 4. | When you have selected all of these tools, press the Save button and your course shell is now configured. ![]() |

| Step 5. | If you need to add or remove tools at a later time, press the Manage Course button![]() |

| Step 6. | Click the Tools link. |

| Step 7. | From this menu, you can add or remove tools as needed. Remember to press the Save button when you are finished. ![]() |
