Video Chat

Using WimbaMedia Video enables participants to speak and share video.

Step 1. Connect your video device to the computer. It is recommended that you use a webcam that either plugs in to a USB port or comes integrated in your computer.
Step 2. Click on the Video Camera button on the Media Bar to enable your video device.

Step 3. 		Click on the Start transmitting video button . 
Step 4. A new Video Window will appear.
 

Note: The Video Window displays a streaming broadcast of any user sharing video. It will automatically appear when you enter Wimba Classroom if any of the participants is sharing a video.
Step 5. To share video and speak into your microphone click and hold the Talk button as you speak or press and hold the Ctrl key on your keyboard.
Note: While speaking, the Talk button will change its color from gray to orange. 

Step 6. 		When finished broadcasting, release the Talk button or close the Video Chat Window.

Step 7. 		You can click the Start/Stop button to Start/Stop transmitting video. Click Show/Hide button  to provide a live, mirror-image representation of your video image. Click the Display Full Screen button  to increase the size of the broadcast to full screen.
