Journal
What you need to know
This tool is no longer a subset of the Discussions tool. However, the tool still exists and now has enhanced functionality.
Where is it now
Journals can be added on the Communications link on the course navigation menu.
What you need to do
- If you want to use the Journals tool, click on the Communications link on the course navigation menu. Click on the “Tools” menu options (located at the top of the page), and select Journals. Select the “Link to the Journal Page” option and click “Next” to continue. Click Submit to create a link to the Journal page.
- Check to verify that each journal has migrated into the new system
- Edit settings and make changes as necessary
