Badwan teaches Introduction to Agency Experience and Social Work for Children & Adolescents.
She has taught at Metropolitan State University of Denver since 1999.
Badwan has taken an interest in issues of acculturation and diversity and how social workers can serve others on a community and global level. Badwan also serves as service learning coordinator at MSU Denver to help students develop and increase their sense of civic responsibility and community engagement.
Before MSU Denver, Badwan worked in the areas of mental health and medical social work and specialized in treating and advocating for children and families with a history of domestic violence, sexual and physical abuse.
