Bio:
Nelson teaches Advances in Clinical Practice.
She has taught at Metropolitan State University of Denver since 2011.
Nelson’s research interests include spiritual needs of patients and spiritual leadership in healthcare. Nelson’s papers include “Spiritual Leadership in Health care” and “Dealing with Inappropriate Behavior: A Multidisciplinary Approach.”
Nelson currently serves as the co-chair elect of the ACE Committee, a Denver-area educational consortium of nursing educators and health-care provider representatives who seek to provide clinical education for student nurses.
