About Extended Campus
Since 1976, MSU Denver's Extended Campus Program has served the needs of adult learners who live and work throughout the Denver metropolitan area. At Extended Campus, we are committed to delivering Colorado's best value in higher education to a diverse and geographically widespread metropolitan community. Our mission is to make higher education convenient for students who are balancing family, work, and community obligations.
Extended Campus offers degree completion programs and a complete array of general education classes at two suburban locations: MSU Denver South Campus in the Denver Technology Center at I-25 and Orchard Road, and MSU Denver North Campus at I-25 and 120th Avenue in Northglenn.
Full-term semester classes (16 weeks) are scheduled in the evenings, generally one day per week; many classes are offered on weekends in an accelerated 8-week format (Saturdays), and in a variety of other scheduling formats available to meet the needs of working adults. (Click here for current class schedule.) In addition, we offer correspondence courses and professional development continuing education classes designed to accommodate adult students and their busy schedules.
Extended Campus also administers specialized educational outreach programs including the Alternative Licensure Program, the Surveying and Mapping Distance Delivery Program, Study Abroad, Colorado Center for Medical Laboratory Science, and the RN to BSN Degree Completion Program in partnership with the local community college system.
Extended Campus students, primarily working adults, reflect a remarkable diversity of backgrounds and educational goals. (Click here for Extended Campus Student Profile (

This past year more than 5,000 students registered for credit courses through Extended Campus. Our faculty, many of whom also teach on the main (downtown Auraria) campus, offer a combination of scholarly training, real-world experience, and teaching skill. Through this community of faculty and students, you'll acquire the know-how and connections you need for success in work and life.
At MSU Denver, you can transform your life. Whether you want to start or resume college, or want to do something completely new, you control your future. You bring the talent and the motivation; MSU Denver's Extended Campus Program delivers the practical, individualized education that you need in today's complex job market.
