Telecourses
Telecourses provide a great alternative for students needing scheduling flexibility because of job or home responsibilities. In addition, many students take a telecourse because they prefer a more independent learning style than a classroom provides. A telecourse is a fully accredited college class that combines television viewing, a textbook, a study guide, and class meetings or discussions led by qualified Metro State professors.
Videos for the telecourses are available for viewing at the library on the Auraria Campus.
Because all telecourses have a limited number of class meetings, students are required to attend the first class session, which is an orientation for the course.
Before registering for a Telecourse, check the current Metro State catalog for prerequisites.
