The Family Center
The Family Center has a 15-year relationship with the Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS), Office of Children, Youth and Families, Division of Children and Family Training. We work with training agencies and people throughout Colorado on Child Welfare training related issues.
Central Registration for Child Welfare Traing
We provide Central Registration help desk support by email and phone to people registering for training through the Colorado Child Welfare Academy online registration web site.
Metropolitan State University Training
The Family Center also administers and organizes training conducted by Metropolitan State University of Denver Social Work Department faculty. They are for Caseworkers, Case Aides, and staff working with children and families in Colorado. Our topic areas are Adolescent Training, Case Aide Training, and Developmental Delay/Disabilities Training.
The Family Center is funded through a grant from the Colorado Department of Human Services (CDHS), Office of Children, Youth and Families, Division of Children and Family Training.
