Central Registration for Child Welfare Training

Staff at the Family Center provide Central Registration help desk support to anyone registering for CDHS sponsored Child Welfare training. They can help you solve problems with account creation, logging into the system and just about any issue you might have. They will teach you how to use the system.

The office is open from 8am to 5pm, Monday through Friday to provide support.

The Colorado Child Welfare Training Academy is the web site where Department of Human Services caseworker supervisors, caseworkers, case aides, foster parents and others from many community-based agencies statewide register for Child Welfare training. This includes the Child Welfare Training Academy where new caseworkers and new supervisors register for mandatory pre-service training to obtain state certification to work with children and families.

Additional non-mandatory child welfare in-service training is available for Department of Human Services staff and other community based staff throughout Colorado.
