Training
Metro State University of Denver, Department of Social Work faculty provide training in three major topic areas:
- Adolescent Training Series
- Case Aide Training Series
- Developmental Delays and Disabilities Training Series
Training is conducted across the state providing staff from varied agencies the opportunity to participate.
Each training has no more than 25 participants providing a small group experience.
Skill building is the central focus of each training.
Participants completing training leave with additional knowledge and tools to help them do their jobs.
All training is approved inservice training that counts toward the 40 hour annual requirement for Department of Human Services staff.
