Intervention Strategies and Service Provision for Adolescents
This one-day training presents specific treatment and intervention strategies for use with behavioral problems that are often encountered. Detailed criteria will be given for the effective use of an array of interventions, including: family therapy, individual therapy, group therapy, behavior modification, medication, placement in an RCCF, RTC, group home, or foster home, core services and in-home interventions.
Participants work in small groups and present “hypothetical” cases to their colleagues and trainers for case consultation regarding the most appropriate and effective intervention strategies.
