Intervention Skills for Case Aides
This two-day training addresses the responsibilities of paraprofessionals providing child welfare intervention. Participants gain skills in how to engage clients by establishing rapport through listening, reflection, clarification; assess and defuse hostile/angry clients; avoid power struggles; and apply these skills in visitation practices and services.
