Ages and Stages Social Emotional Screening for Young Children
Target audience: Caseworkers, Case Aides, and other professionals in the Human Services field.
This half-day training will introduce participants to the Ages & Stages Questionnaires: Social Emotional (ASQ:SE): A Parent-Completed, Child-Monitoring System for Social Emotional Behaviors screening tool. It is specifically designed to be used with children from the ages of 3 to 66 months. The tool identifies infants and young children whose social or emotional development requires further evaluation to determine if referral for intervention services is necessary. It is designed to be used in conjunction with the Ages & Stages Questionnaires and other developmental screening tools.
