FAFSA Workshop

Want money to pay for college? Get FREE help to complete the FAFSA or Free Application for Federal Student Aid  - the universal application for financial aid for all colleges, including Metro:
- Federal & State Grants
- Scholarships
- Work Study
- Student Loans

When: April 22nd - Noon to 4:30 p.m.
April 23rd - 4 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Where: Tivoli 225 - Computer Lab

Scholarships are everywhere, learn how to apply for get them now and explore financial aid. FAFSA stands for Free Application for Federal Student Aid, and it’s the first step to getting financial assistance for college.

What should I bring?

  • Social Security number (can be found on Social Security card)
  • Driver's license (if any)
  • A copy of the student and parents' 2008 Federal Tax documents

While filling out the form is probably about as much fun as doing your taxes, the FAFSA is the link between you and your financial aid.
