Jerome Davis, Chair - Regional Vice President, Xcel Energy
Jerome Davis held a series of progressively responsible positions in Xcel Energy, beginning in substation engineering in 1984. He went on to hold several management positions in corporate accounting and as supplier diversity manager. Davis is currently the regional vice president at Xcel Energy. Davis manages Xcel’s relationships with local governments and other groups.
Davis has had a lengthy involvement in government affairs. Davis is vice-chair for the Denver Chapter of the American Association of Blacks in Energy, is the 2010 board chair for the Metro Denver Sports Commission, and is a past chair of the board of the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation. He graduated from the leadership programs at both the Denver Metro Chamber Leadership Foundation and Aurora Chamber of Commerce. He also served on the Transition Committee and Graffiti Committee (co-chair) for Denver Mayor John Hickenlooper.
Davis earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and computer information systems and an M.B.A. from Regis University.
