Raymond Sutton, Jr., Former Chair - Managing Partner, Baker & Hostetler
Raymond Sutton, Jr., is the managing partner of the Denver office of Baker & Hostetler and a member of the Policy Committee, the firm’s governing body. He specializes in tax and business matters related to entity structuring, mergers and acquisitions of privately owned companies, business continuity, incentive compensation, estate planning, and tax controversy.
Sutton maintains an active lecture and writing schedule on tax planning and conducts private workshops on fiduciary tax and estate planning for bank trust departments and insurance companies. He has published two books for continuing professional education in estate planning and is a former visiting assistant professor of law at the University of Denver College of Law's Graduate Tax Program.
Sutton is a member of the American, Colorado and Denver Bar Associations and a Fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel.
