Ron Tilton - President, FirstBank of Denver
Ron Tilton has been president of FirstBank of Denver since 1998, after starting his career with the bank in 1985. He has served on the bank's Credit Policy Committee and as chair of the Credit Committee. Tilton currently serves on the boards of Del Norte Housing Development Corporation, Denver Civic Ventures and the Rocky Mountain Chapter of Junior Achievement. His past community involvement activities include service on the boards for Parent Pathways, Urban League and Denver Area Boy Scouts. He has been a classroom instructor for Junior Achievement and is a member/chair of the Downtown Denver Partnership’s City Center Housing Council, Pinehurst Country Club, Wheat Ridge DARE Foundation and the Colorado Responsible Lending Task Force. Tilton also is a founding board member of Colorado Lending source (a non-profit SBA 504 loan company).
Tilton holds a bachelor's degree in economics and finance from Kansas State University and, since joining First Bank, has graduated from the Bank Compliance School in Norman, Okla. and the Pacific Coast Banking School in Seattle, Washington.
