About Us
The Office of Development leads the effort to secure private financial support for academic, cultural, and other programs offered at Metropolitan State College of Denver. As the liaison between Metro State and its benefactors, the Office of Development promotes strategic initiatives and College priorities, and also identifies individuals, corporations and foundations that can help the College achieve its goals. Likewise, development officers interact with and represent donors throughout the giving process, serving as stewards of donors’ generosity and above all ensuring that appropriate recognition is given and that high ethical standards are maintained at all times.
The Office of Development is part of the Office of Institutional Advancement, which is responsible for all areas of development, alumni relations, public relations, marketing and communications, and grant writing. All private gifts are invested and managed by the Metropolitan State College of Denver Foundation Inc.
