Your name, along with your honoree, will be listed in The Metropolitan newspaper.
There is no minimum or maximum contribution amount. It's not the amount that matters; it's the fact that you participate, which says thank you. Your gift truly makes a difference! Your contribution will fund student scholarships and will help provide assistance to students who attend Metro State after you. Your gratitude toward Metro State, and those who helped you succeed, will help others achieve their success.

Why should I participate?
Participating in the Senior Class Gift is a way for you to say thank you and leave your mark on Metro State. Most importantly, your contributions will be designated to the Metro State General Scholarship Fund and therefore your donation will help provide assistance to those students who attend Metro State after you.
All seniors making a Senior Class Gift will be listed in the May 8th print edition of The Metropolitan and the Fall 2008 Metro State Development Office Honor Roll of Donors. Those seniors making a donation of $20 or more are able to make their gift in honor of an individual and the student along with the honoree will be listed in The Metropolitan and the Metro State Development Office Honor Roll of Donors.
How do I participate in the 2008 Senior Class Gift?
A mailing to graduating seniors will arrive soon or you may call (303) 556-8424 to make a gift via phone or to ask questions.
How much am I expected to donate?
There is no minimum or maximum contribution amount. It’s not the amount that matters; it’s the fact that you participate which says thank you to Metro State and the students that follow you. Your gift truly makes a difference!
When is my gift due?
Gifts must be received at the Metro State Development Office by Friday, May 2, 2008 in order for names to be listed in the May 8, 2008 edition of The Metropolitan. However, a gift may be submitted after this time and a comprehensive list will be published in the Fall 2008 Metro State Development Office Honor Roll of Donors.
Will it be known that I made a gift?
Unless you request to remain anonymous, your name will be published in the May 8, 2008 edition of The Metropolitan and the Fall 2008 Metro State Development Office Honor Roll of Donors. The Senior Class Gift form will allow you to make your gift anonymously..
Can I make a gift in someone's honor?
Yes, you can! We encourage you to make your gift in honor of someone special, who has stood by your side during your college experience – a professor, friend, family member, group, or pet. Honoree name will also be included in the May 8th edition of The Metropolitanand the Fall 2008 Metro State Development Office Honor Roll of Donors. (Gift amounts will not be published)
What is the purpose of a Senior Class Gift?
The Senior Class Gift is a tradition at many schools, where the graduating class (that’s you!) makes a gift to their alma mater to leave a lasting tribute to the Metro State students that come after you and to say thank you for everything you have gained during your time at Metro State.
