Ways to Give

When you make a gift to Metro State, you determine how to give and how the funds will be used.

Unrestricted gifts are especially valuable to Metro State, because they allow the College to allocate funds wherever the need is greatest, and to take advantage of new opportunities. Your contribution may be used to support costs associated with financial aid, innovations in teaching, research equipment, facilities and much more.

Directed gifts allow you to designate your gift to a specific school or program. When you make a directed gift to Metro State, you enjoy the satisfaction of knowing you are supporting a program that is personally meaningful to you.

You also have the option of designating your gift either for current use or toward an existing endowment. Current-use gifts provide funds and flexibility over the short term, while endowment gifts provide security over the long term by expanding the College’s permanent financial base. Endowments create a predictable source of future income for projects such as endowed faculty positions, student scholarships and fellowships, or entire academic programs.
