Meet the Student Callers
Each semester, the Annual Fund Call Center employs approximately 25 students who gain work experience and develop communication skills, confidence and leadership.
Our MSU Denver student callers exemplify the diversity of our student population and academic majors and programs. Because our callers are students, they understand and appreciate how your gift is helping. And by talking with them, you can hear first-hand how your gift makes a difference in their lives.
Our callers are trained in all aspects of professional telephone conduct. The Annual Fund Call Center takes every measure to ensure the security of student, alumni, faculty, staff, friend and parent information. All callers are required to comprehend and sign confidentiality agreements prior to any contact with fellow students, alumni, faculty, staff, friends and parents.

The best part of being an Annual Fund student Caller is:

Start pursuing experience in the field you plan on making your career while you’re still in school!
My favorite memory that a MSU Denver alumnus shared with me is:
I had the chance to speak with an Urban Planning major who was an international student. She had to talk with the mayor of Denver for a project & got to have an actual face-to-face conversation with him, which ended up helping her gain the confidence to actually speak up in her classes! (This project had a major impact on her life as an International Student!)

Head of the Microbiology Lab in Denver for Purina.

The people: the amazing teachers, the awesome friends I’ve made, & the mentors I’ve acquired.

What I like most about MSU Denver
I love how diverse MSU Denver is. There are people from all walks of life on campus.
The Annual Fund is vital to MSU Denver because
Not only do we get pledges for the school, we keep in touch with the alumni so that way, they don’t feel excluded and forgotten. I think it’s important to keep up with them and to stay in touch so that MSU Denver has a continuous, long-lasting relationship with all students. I believe the Annual Fund is vital to the alumni as well; we keep them updated on everything happening here on campus, which they may or may not know about. There are some people who haven’t been back on campus in year and finding out what’s happening on campus excites them. It’s a win-win situation for everyone: the student callers get advice from the alumni, the alumni get updated on what’s been happening on campus, and MSU Denver keeps in contact with students from the past.
